This adventurous couple wanted to celebrate their marriage in the heart of the Costa Rican Rainforest. The couple had done a civil service in the US, but wanted to their wedding memories to be a little more personal and romantic! We conducted the vow renewal ceremony at Rainmaker, just a short drive from Manuel Antonio. This spot by the river is about a 20 minute hike into Rainmaker along rainforest trails. After a change out of hiking gear into wedding attire my soon to be wife, Katharine, conducted the vow renewal. The glorious back drop of the Costa Rican rainforest combined with a wonderfully happy couple made taking photographs easy! Congratulations to you both!

John and Katherine are truly the nicest people and most awesome couple you will ever meet. Going into the “rain maker” rain forest to the waterfall was nothing short of wonderful. If memories serves, there where signs we had just missed ocelot at the entry kiosk type area.The whole experience was spectacular and far exceeded expectation.katherine was PERFECT in every respect and John is as good as you get. In fact you would be hard pressed to find someone with the passion, ingenuity, creativity skill and overall smarts he brings to the table. We feel privileged to have hiked with them into this magnificent rain forest and not only conduct but share in it with us in what has to be one of the most spectacular countries in the world.
Thank you so much! We hope you guys are well, funnily enough we just did a family hike in Rainmaker this morning! The Corteza Amarilla Trees (Golden Trumpet) are all in bloom and dropping their flowers on the rainforest floor…looks spectacular. Hope to see you back in Costa Rica again in the future.
